Why am I receiving messages from Whym*?

Messages from Whym:

  • You’ll receive a Welcome message with an opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of communication after creating your account. This will only happen once.
  • You’ve received a text-to-buy link from a merchant and you’ve initiated a checkout by clicking on the link. Whym has sent you a checkout confirmation. You must reply Y to approve any charge.
  • After each order, you’ll receive a text message receipt.

What if I didn’t receive a text from Whym to approve my charge*?

If you did not receive a text from Whym to authorize payment, try the following:

  • Text the word START to the number 888-818-0859.  You need to opt-in to receiving messages from Whym* to approve your charge.
  • Next, you will need to re-click on the text-to-buy link invitation in the brands message.

If you are still having trouble receiving our messages:

  • Restart your handset to reset your carrier connect.
  • If you are still unable to receive the message, you will need to contact your carrier.

What if I stop receiving messages from Whym*?

You may have unsubscribed to Whym messages.

  • Text the word START to the number 888-818-0859.  You need to opt-in to receiving messages from Whym*.
